Responsibilities: -
Reporting to the Engineering Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will have responsibility for a range of duties including the following: -
- The scoping, design, installation and commissioning of a range of capital projects
- Process capability evaluation
- Interfacing with design, maintenance and operations
- Process / Equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Introduction of new equipment / Automation and upgrades
- Identification of opportunities for new technology / automation
- Delivering innovative technical solutions
- Improving the efficiency and safety of equipment
- Validation of new equipment / processes
- Working to high standards in the areas of safety and quality
Educational Qualifications / Experience required: -
- Degree Qualified mechanical Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Natural problem solver with strong mechanical aptitute
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
- Enthusastic and energetic with the ability to integrate quickly into a team environment and work on own initiative
- Self started, motivated
