Our client a well known multi-national company in Limerick are looking to recruit a Projects Engineer (Facilities / Maintenance) on a permanent basis!

Reports To

Technical Services Manager Ireland Operations

Position Summary

Responsible for the coordination of SO Irelands capital projects CER processes. Coordinate Capital budgets and forecasts, and manage facilities capital projects for Limerick.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage the CER process for SO Ireland, and ensure CER templates, files and tracking processes are maintained.

 

  • Assist operations and other support departments with the CER Process. Carry out training and mentoring as necessary to ensure consistency in CER creation and compliance with procedure.

 

  • Schedule and chair CER review meetings as necessary

 

  • Coordinate Cost reduction activities within the technical services department.

 

  • Manage Capital Project for company.

  • Manage the Capital budget and forecasts for company, and ensure compliance with the financial forecasting process.

 

  • Maintain relationships with our consulting partners, and coordinate project management or civil activities when necessary.

 

  • Current Projects

 

  • Develop plans and create CERs for plant upgrade

 

  • Coordinate EHS site storm water interceptors project

 

  • Site Security Projects

 

  • Office upgrade projects (Quality Department)

 

Qualifications Knowledge Skills

 

  • Bachelor of science in engineering with minimum 5 yrs relevant experience in a   similar role.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of legal and Safety requirements for civil projects.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
