Job Description:
Our client, a leader in the Energy Market currently has a requirement for a Proposal Manager with 5-6years experience to join their organisation.
The Proposal Manager will have overall responsibility for the bid and proposal process and management of the proposal team. The successful candidate will initially be based in Denmark for 1 year, representing the business in Ireland.
Description:
- Scheduling and planning of proposal process
- Coordinate the preparation of commercial and technical bids
- Manage the calculation process
- Controlling proposal preparation costs
- Coordinate the final review of proposal and contracts including required documentation before signing and delivery to the client
- Participate in contract negotiations and arrange clarification of technical aspects
Education & Skills Required:
- Technical education - Electrical or Mechanical Engineer Degree
- Additional commercial education desirable
- Several years international technical sales experience
- 2nd language - Danish or German an advantage
- Strong communication skills, team player
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong quality and organization orientation
- Ability to influence others towards accuracy
- Demonstrates initiative and be result orientated
