Job Description:

Demand Planner Contract - Waterford
 
This is a contract due to last approx. 11 months for an experienced Demand Planner to join this highly regulated manufacutirng pharmaceutical facility in Waterford.
 
Responsibilities
Balancing of customer requirements and site throughput by analyzing historical forecast and performance to forecast, recommending required production, safety stocks and inventory levels
Routine communication of both the short term and long term demand plan internally to key stakeholders in a structured manner, driving priority awareness within the plant.
Design and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports
Review & analyze accuracy of demand information on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for the demand management of new product commercialization and product lifecycle management within the plant.
Collaboration with members of the global supply chain, the commercialization group, and customer support teams.
Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast - historical sales, market trends etc.
Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to all key stakeholders.
Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach
Lead the EU S&OP on a monthly basis, attendance & follow up.
Develop scenarios and facilitate forums to enable improved long range decision making for the site.
  
 
Experience / qualifications:
Relevant 3rd level qualification within Supply Chain preferably IIPMM with 5 plus years experience working
in a similar role within Blue Chip environment. 
Strong knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems
Well organized, self motivated individual that can meet deadlines
Ability to multi task
Excellent problem solving skills in a dynamic environment
Ability to successfully work across multiple sites and levels
