Job Description:
Working within the R&D Group, the successful candidates will have responsibilityfor the following:
- Provide analytical support to the R&D team on time and in full to meet the objectives of the department
- Perform inhalation testing to support stability, characterisation, product development etc. using existing and innovative technologies and automated equipment
- Reporting / Reviewing test details and results using worksheets, laboratory notebooks and / or spreadsheets as required.
- Validation of analytical & test methods for raw materials and respiratory finished products.
- Compilation and reviewing of technical protocols and reports
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required standards conforming to company, cGMP, GLP, SOP, specifications, validation, regulatory affairs, H&S and environmental requirements
- Contribute to and support the R&D team in delivery a high standard of service to both internal and external customers
- To provide guidance, support and training in areas of expertise and knowledge to other analysts to ensure they are equipped to carry out tasks assigned to them
- Liaise with other R&D groups globally with support updates and problem solving information
- To transfer methods from other R&D sites within the company
- Identify and make recommendations for improvements as part of a team within or outside department in order to eliminate non value added activities and ensure continuous improvement
- 3rd Level degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science related discipline
- Minimum of 1 years experience desirable
- Experience in operating and calibrating analytical equipment necessary
- Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, Regulatory Bodies and Customer Requirements
- Company procedures, policies and standards
- Experience in HPLC analysis including troubleshooting
- An knowledge of Empower CDS Software
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to take responsibility and work on ones own initiative
