Job Description:
A highly reputed consultancy specialising in providing renewable energy solutions to companies across Ireland and the UK has an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager from a mechanical background to join their dynamic and innovative organisation.
As Design Manager you will report directly into the CEO and will be expected to travel between Ireland and the UK on a regular basis. This busy and varied role will include but not be limited to:
- Hands on detailed design of renewable energy solutions
- Managing a small design team and ensuring designs are completed on time and to the highest of standards
- Providing technical support to the sales function
- Project planning, budgeting and final pricing
- Managing projects from initial design stages through to completion
To be successful in this role you must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in the design and design management of renewable energy systems. Strong CAD skills, impeccable communication skills and a proven ability of managing the design of turnkey projects are essential. This position will suit a highly motivated, driven and ambitious indivual.
