LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
The role
Our client, a highly regulated manufacturing facility are currently recruiting on a permanent basis for an experienced Logistics Specialist.
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader the Logistics Specialist will work as part of the logistics function managing key logistics initiatives with a view to strengthening the logistics capability on site in a complex multi-national supply chain.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of logistics strategy along with the shipping solutions to support strategy
- Improve and strengthen the logistics capability within in a growing environment
- Support the continued optimization of the supply chain
- Work with Corporate logistics to develop global logistics solutions
- Represent the company on global logistic projects and other supply chain related projects
- Work with on-site cross functional teams in delivering logistic related changes/upgrades
- Research and develop distribution technologies that support new product introductions and develop distribution - solutions in line with the needs of the organisation
- Deliver key projects on time and in line with objectives
Requirements:
Applicants must be Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline. A Project Management qualification also beneficial.
Minimum 5 years experience within an FDA regulated environment with a proven track record in Project Management of complex projects from start to finish.
Experience in managing projects within a controlled environment beneficial.
