Job Description:
Our Client are a global engineering and project management company in the construction sector. They recently acquired a contract with a data processing, warehousing company based in Dublin. They are looking for someone with a health and safety qualification, someone that has worked within the construction industry and someone that has site management / project management experience within this industry. This is an 9 week temporary role and an urgent requirement.
Job Description: -The development consists of the next phase of sprinkler system installation and related work at our Client's Premises; where they are going to install a multi tier racking following the existing installations.
Responsibilities / Activities: Coordination of all project activities such as interface coordination and evaluation of contract variations
Initiate weekly project meetings with all trade contractors and preparing of project minutes and update status report
Quality supervision - check the quality on a daily basis based on the instructions provided by the project manager.
Support the payment by checking the works completed on site against the payment certificate supplied by the contractors supported by all relevant documentary evidence related to the invoice and the relevant scope and inspect and approve the work corresponding to the milestone / invoice / scope.
Sprinkler installation, mechanical and electrical, shop drawings, and project and people management, overseeing builders work
Qualifications / Specific requirements: -Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Must be proficient in CAD, outlook, excel and word
Health & Safety qualification required
Essential that the candidate has worked in a similar Site Management role.
