Job Description:
Supply Chain Manager
An excellent opportunity exists in this leading FDA regulated facility in Waterford for a Senior Supply Chain Manager.
Reporting to the Materials Director, the successful Supply Chain Manager will lead the supply chain function on site and as part of a wider team to ensure the delivery of product in line with the requirements of the organisation's global customer base.
Resposibilities to include:
Effective stewardship of the supply management function to ensure customer needs are delivered in line with market requirements.
Manage the site planning function in a highly sterile, aseptic environment.
Responsibility for the customer service function on site.
Responsibility for the artwork management and data compliance function on site.
Responsibility for product specific EU Sales & Operations Planning as part of a global product supply process.
Inventory Management in line with site metrics.
Maintenance of key quality, financial and operational compliance metrics.
Ensure the team of direct reports are adequately and appropriately trained to comply with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Primary / Secondary Degree or higher
- Minimum of 8 years experience at Supply Chain Management level preferably within a FDA regulated environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using first tier ERP software package such as Oracle or SAP.
- Creative, "out of box" thinker.
- Strong leadership and communication ability to deal effectively and professionally with customers and staff at all levels within the organisation.
- Proven ability to come up with creative solutions to complex problems by applying industry and customer knowledge coupled with sound judgment
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvements
