Job Description:
Our client is a leading distribution organisation with a significant presence in Ireland. Servicing customers in the FMCG sector, this company is a leading Employer of Choice.
An exciting career opportunity has come available for a "REORDER LINE MANAGER". This position, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, will lead a team of 5 supply chain re-order buyers to deliver on service targets, promotional forecasting, and seasonal planning. The Line Manager will also assume the responsibility of some cross-functional project assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure retailer service is maintained at budgeted levels
- Maintain effective forecasting for promotions and develop post promotional reporting
- Manage underperforming suppliers
- Manage effective seasonal performance
- Develop cross functional relationships with Trading, Sales, IT and Logistics functions and establish formalised communication channels
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years working in retail/wholesale environment with exposure to supply chain.
- Previous experience of managing a small team
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- IT skills to enable competence in Excel, SCM, Gold with appropriate training.
- Track record of delivering successful outcomes in process improvement/project environment
