Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and executing manufacturing engineering / process improvement projects
Duties:
- Evaluation of existing plant & equipment and process capabilities.
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives to maximize yield, quality and plant efficiency at minimum cost.
- Drive and implement technical and process engineering solutions to support identified improvement opportunities.
- Develop and manage the capital expenditure budget and associated documentation.
- Develop and execute project plans for approved projects.
- Provide technical leadership to Production & Maintenance teams to ensure optimum plant performance.
- Work closely with Environment, Health & Safety and QA departments to ensure process and engineering solutions are in place to meet regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Process or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5-7 yrs working in a manufacturing industry
- Previous project management experience, preferably in mechanical, electrical and automation fields.
- Understanding of process automation systems & PLC networks.
