Duties

• Lead product design and process development teams
• Work closely with R+D team to drive Design for Manufacture - to achieve robust processes and design.
• Lead product design from early definition phase through to commercialization
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of equipment/process interaction and the daily management of design builds using Design of Experiment (DOE) and other Six Sigma tools
• Validation & Scale up of product
• Generation of validation documentation, including risk assessments, pFMEA, Test Method Validations, Process Validation Protocols and Reports
• Use statistical methods to analyze validation results
• Manage/Mentor technicians to ensure design and processes demonstrate proven capabilities through DOE/Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control methodology (DMAIC)
• Develop detailed plans with cross functional groups from R&D to Equipment Engineering to Operations
• Lead daily meetings with the team to ensure key milestones are achieved
• Introduce new processes through debug, installation and validation steps
• Incorporate lean manufacturing techniques into redesign of manufacturing area

 Experience Required

• 3^rd level Degree in an Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a hands-on approach at all times
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member
