Pricing Analyst

Location: Dublin [Dublin]

Salary: €3 - €4 Per Hour

Job Description:

Responsible for gathering pricing information and conducting analysis of price changes impacting markets across the region.



Roles / Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain a database including:

  • Market price structures and regulations
  • Company product vs competitor prices at various market levels
  • Company discounts; commissions etc

2. Analysis:

  • Access and recommend pricing strategies based on commercial; competitive and regulated requirements and trends
  • Access and develop pricing quotes when needed
  • Monitor financial impact on supply and market prices
  • Access new product pricing and price reduction knock on impact and timing

3. Implementation:

  • Negotiate and manage regulators on pricing changes and requirements
  • Ensure approved pricing is being implemented and kept kept up to date; manage financial impact on supply prices
  • Manage contract pricing obligations and  tender activity required with distributors
  • Develop new product pricing and pricing impact for planning


Skills / Experience:

  • A minimum of three years experience in pricing analysis and will be expected to have a understanding of pricing and practices across Europe with demonstrated proficiency in database management and spreadsheet applications (advanced skills in Excel essential - financial calculations)
  • Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures, customer behaviour, profitability and return on investment modelling and general economic modelling
  • Experience and demonstrated capability of serving as effective financial business partner in a customer oriented environment dealing with wide range of business areas including marketing and promotion, pricing, distribution, compensation, customer loyalty and customer care
  • Background in pharmaceutical / FMCG / manufacturing preferred

Educated to degree level
