Job Description:

The Validation Engineer will be part of the QA Team reporting to the CAPA and Validation Team Leader.
- The function will provide direction, documentation, execution and review for plant validation activities.
- This function will work closely with the CAPA and Validation Team Leader.
-  The function will provide leadership across a number of Q.A. functions including Validation, and Corrective Action/Preventative Action Programmes.

Roles / Responsibilities:

-Manage and co-ordinate the Validation Change Control System, VMP and all related documentation along with leading the Validation Review Board.
-Be responsible for training in accordance to Validation Policies and Procedures.
-Compiling of all necessary validation packages.
-Maintenance of the CAPA and Quality Metrics programme.
-Liaise with the Compliance and Validation Team Leader in this process.
-Assist in the maintenance of the Plant HACCP Programme and general quality programmes.
-Conduct compliance audits and walkdowns and complete necessary follow up reports.

Skills / Experience:

Knowledge of Validation and CAPA Policies or FDA regulations in relation to validation is an advantage.
-Knowledge of food engineering, thermal heat processing and fluid flow is advantageous.
-Project Management Skills or experience with Project Management is essential.

Education / Professional Qualifications:

A Bachelor¿s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science, Dairy Science or related Engineering qualifications. Food Microbiology or Food Chemistry would be desirable however, not essential. Knowledge of validation is essential.
