Our Client a leading pharmaceutical company are moving some of there shared services to Dublin Ireland, Brunel have been partnered with this company in hiring the staff for this very exciting opportunity


Reporting to the COO, the incumbent will be required to lead Commercial Affairs and New Business Development for the (Euro) region including co-ordinating the operational function requirements between the various in Market Partners and to ensure achievement of all contractual and financial goals.

Identifies and implements strategies for business development
Identify and lead a suitable company acquisition
Identifies products and markets where commercialization can be taken up



Job Description:

Analysis:
Forecast product income statements for new products
Assess competitor activity in various a markets
Assess therapeutic trends in various markets
Analyse historical launch trends of products in various markets.

Communications
Manage the distributor network effectively
Cross functional interaction on the product pipeline and new launches
Intercompany communication on existing products as well as between the various functions operating in the market

Commercialisation:
Manage Key in market relationships
Drive the relevant promotion strategy with distributors in targeted markets
Develop the commercial strategy and relevant infrastructure in the area
Identify and implement growth strategies on the existing products
Manage the Dublin office
Manage European pricing strategy; decisions and implementation

Financial:
Manage the Dublin company Income Statement
Manage the portfolio profitability



Roles / Responsibilities:


Customer Relationship / Resolution Management:
Manage the relationship between the parties and facilitate the resolution of any issues; Understand and respond strategically to external influences, such as local regulations ; Customer Business Planning ¿ fully engaged in the business planning cycle

Competitive Insights Required:
Identifies competitive activity, which may have impact on sales goals / strategies;  Provides recommendations and cost effective plan of action;
Develops initiatives to provide competitive point of difference using knowledge of industry trends and competitive environment.

Continuous Improvement Processes:
Ensure timely and cost effective working capital management;
New product development;
Pricing;
Regional operating capability.



Skills / Experience:


Ensure the company is legally compliant.

Will be required to travel and be located in Dublin.

Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in Euro pharma at multi market level;
Multi lingual would be advantageous (verbal & written);
Postgraduate degree (MBA or financial degree would be plus);
Commercial experience:
Business development experience ¿ either by way of new products and or divestments / acquisitions of products and or companies;
Financial operations or general management experience;
Understanding of European Pharma environment;
Experience in setting up promotional arrangements and managing same with distributors;
Proven track record of sales and or EBIT management and performance.
